Foundation marketing for a new franchise brand

OBJECTIVE

A business was just starting their franchising journey and were looking for guidance and support with both their consumer brand and also how the structure their marketing support for franchisees. They wanted to be proactive and make sure they were setting their network up for success from the start.

METHODOLOGY

We completed a brand discovery workshop to help define their franchise brand and articulate their unique selling position. We worked with the business founders to provide recommendations and a strategy to optimise the budget they had for their start-up marketing, focusing around their website, content and digital elements, ensuring the right core elements were prioritised. We also assisted with a framework for their ongoing marketing, factoring in not just the national franchise brand strategy, but also how this strategy could be translated into local franchise marketing, building out the assets that franchisees would need to launch their businesses.

RESULTS

The franchise now has a brand that reflects their offering and appeals to their target audience and prospective franchisees. Their website communicates their unique selling proposition, and is also set up in line with best practice for franchise networks. When new franchisees come on board, there is a specific process they go through to get set up on the website and digital channels, ensuring a consistent brand and approach on all touchpoints. Franchisees also now have access to a turnkey launch plan, as well as seasonal local area marketing campaigns.
